OUR STORY

Anne and Sam met in Cincinnati, OH, the old-fashioned way—Hinge! Sam would like it to be known that Anne was the first and only Hinge date he ever went on, and he still doesn’t understand what everyone is complaining about when it comes to online dating. “It’s actually really easy.”

They both walked into their first date at Parkside in Cincinnati with exceedingly low expectations. Anne was mildly distressed that Sam wore a salmon-colored shirt and ordered the chicken fingers. Despite this, they ended up talking for two hours until the restaurant closed—and even scheduled their second date before the night was over.

After that second date, Sam nervously checked his health insurance and Googled symptoms of serious illnesses, hoping for a conclusive diagnosis for his cold sweats, stomach pain, and numb toes. The search persisted, but it wasn’t rheumatoid arthritis, ulcerative colitis, or Type 2 diabetes—the sick feeling was LOVE! Anne, to her own surprise, also found herself coming around and felt an overwhelming urge to send this boy the VIDEO OF THE UNITED STATES 4x100 Freestyle Relay from the Beijing Olympics (suck it, France).

A few weeks into dating, Anne dropped a major bombshell: she would be moving to Nashville, TN, for a fantastic job opportunity. She was nervous to tell Sam, knowing her departure could mean the end of their time together. Little did she know, Sam had also been planning a move…to Nashville. It was now Sam’s turn to nervously break the news, because he was well aware this might make him look like a total creep—some might even say a sketchball or a loon with stalker tendencies.

Anne and Sam moved to Nashville within a week of each other and have been inseparable ever since. They cannot wait to share this momentous day with you and party like it’s going out of style.
